Evil Car PC is a cross-platform vehicle PC environment written utilizing C++ and Qt. It provides a framework for a set of plugins to provide any given functionality, as well as providing a facility for any given plugin to communicate with any other plugin.
evilcpc is currently in release candidate stages, meaning the plugin interface code has been frozen. The intent is to release the core along with a few basic plugins to show examples of how things interface. At this point, it is my hope that individual developers begin writing their own plugins for the project. It should be noted that I have no problems with people writing commercial plugins, as long as they pursue the appropriate channels with Qt licensing.
My own personal plugin development will be focused on linux (for example, I have written an OSS mixer plugin, which would not work on windows or mac). However, where possible, I will attempt to create cross-platform plugins.
